I have finally gathered some worthy pictures of the projects that i have been working on to add to my so far sad blog.

MEERENDAL PROJECT

The picture above, is of the manor house that is being renovated into a 6 bedroom guest house. As i was still a new addition to the Boogertman and Partners team, i was given the small task of drawing up the construction drawings for the new entrance wall of the wine farm. This job included taking the concept design of the entrance wall that the client liked and creating drawings for construction (dimensions, materials, bla bla bla).

The drawing includes a sketchup model and the exact position on google earth that the wall will be situated.
I am not sure why the image is doubled...sorry...

I also went along to a site meeting regarding the construction of the rest of the manor house, and here are some pics of the demolition that has been going down:) in the pictures below you will be able to see that some of the shower floors have already been set, and the geysers are already up in the roof. A lot of the original materials (like floors and doors) are being preserved because it is important to still keep the feel of the original manor house

VINEYARD PROJECT
Jip de Jager Drive

This is the project that i have been most busy with. It is an extension of the existing office part on Jip de Jager Drive.  It is a very large design, that i had to draw up on sketch up for the client. So far i have perspective pics of the first option that is going to be presented to the client. I am in the process of completing the other various options that there are. (Variations in building heights and roof pitches and so on.) The site includes many 3 story dutch gabled buildings, with vehicular and pedestrian circulation making each building easily accessible.

The Vineyard project on Jip de Jager Drive is still is its very early stages, but i will keep you updated as the project progresses!:)
